Turks & Caicos is a gorgeous Caribbean island with white sand beaches and lots of sunshine. I’m excited to check out this resort as it looks beautiful and is far away from the crowds around Grace Bay (the island’s most famous beach).

Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa will open next year and has started taking reservations for February 15th. The 100-room property is located on South Caicos Island. The resort used to be the East Bay Resort, but when reopened it will be a part of Marriott Bonvoy®. The hotel will have six restaurants and bars, a spa, a fitness center, a pool, and direct beach access.

This aerial view gives a good overview of the resort. It looks like it is well spaced and has a good amount of beachfront.

Limited dates are showing available for award bookings at 132,000 points per night. Cash rates range from $915 to $5,995 per night.

Anthony’s Take: I enjoyed staying at Point Grace Resort when it was part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) and partnered with World of Hyatt. There is a Ritz-Carlton Resort near Grace Bay as well, but reviews are bad and it looks rather uninviting. This new option looks exciting.

Agree that this looks great, but have to disagree about the RC. Stayed there a few months back and it was great. You should give it a try.
