I first wrote about American Express’ plans to integrate the Tock venue network into Resy back in February. The move creates a single expanded destination for restaurant reservations and hospitality experiences with more than 25,000 venues bookable through Resy. That happened today and Resy has now integrated Tock’s portfolio of restaurants, wineries, and culinary experiences into a single app.
The addition brings many of the country’s most sought-after restaurants to Resy, including Michelin-starred destinations such as Atomix in New York City, Lazy Bear in San Francisco, Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York’s Hudson Valley, and Smyth in Chicago.
The partnership also broadens Resy’s offerings beyond restaurants by introducing nearly 1,200 wineries to the platform. Wine enthusiasts can now book tastings and vineyard experiences at renowned producers including Scribe Winery in Sonoma, Heitz Cellar in Napa Valley, Ridge Vineyards in Healdsburg, and Sandhi Wines in California’s Santa Barbara County.
The expanded selection positions Resy as a more comprehensive destination for food and wine experiences. It also allows users to discover everything from chef’s counters and cocktail bars to winery tours and tasting rooms.
Later this year, Resy plans to further invest in wine tourism with the launch of a dedicated editorial hub featuring guides and recommendations for leading wine regions, including Napa Valley, Sonoma, and Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
American Express cardholders will also benefit from the integration. Beginning September 15th, eligible purchases made through Tock and at participating Tock venues in the United States will qualify for the Resy Credit to expand the number of restaurants where eligible American Express card members can earn statement credits. Additional Tock venues are expected to become eligible for the benefit in the coming months.
Anthony’s Take: This is exciting news and I’m happy to see this come together. The integration strengthens Resy’s position as a leading restaurant reservation platform while giving diners access to a broader range of culinary and hospitality experiences through a single destination.
