As I wrote about last week, Delta Air Lines is continuing to expand its presence at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with the launch of the city’s first nonstop service to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) as well as a new route to San Diego International Airport (SAN) and expanded flights on other routes from the Texas capital.
Beginning March 27th, Delta will operate daily seasonal flights between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). The new route will be operated by the Airbus A330-900neo. These feature 29 Delta One®, 28 Delta Premium Select, 56 Delta Comfort, and 168 Delta Main seats. Beyond Paris, travelers will have convenient one-stop connections to nearly 70 destinations across Europe, India, and Africa through Delta’s joint venture with Air France-KLM.
Alongside the new international service, Delta announced several domestic and leisure network enhancements from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). Starting April 12th, the airline will introduce daily nonstop flights between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and San Diego International Airport (SAN). Southwest and Alaska Airlines also fly this route several times daily.
Delta is also making its nonstop service to/from Cancún International Airport (CUN) a year-round operation and extending flights beyond the traditional winter travel season.
The airline will further strengthen its technology corridor by adding a second daily frequency between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) beginning April 12th. The route, which launches in October 2026, will offer travelers greater flexibility between two of the nation’s leading innovation centers.

By the summer of 2027, Delta expects to serve approximately 30 destinations from Austin with more than 70 departures on peak travel days.
The network growth is supported by Delta’s broader investments in Austin. This includes more than 900 local employees, a recently opened flight attendant base, an existing Delta Sky Club®, plans for a larger one (plus a Delta One® Lounge) and expanded operations in the airport’s future Concourse A development.
