After my flight from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), I had some time to check out the Alaska Airlines Lounge located in the C Concourse (on the mezzanine level next to Gate C-16). Just as I had not flown Alaska Airlines in 20 years, I had not been in a lounge in that time. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the lounge and hope to check out more of what Alaska has to offer.

Anthony’s Take: The lounge was almost empty and the food was excellent. I’m a sucker for Chicken Tikka Masala and clam chowder. It was great to have both here. The staff was friendly and the Wi-Fi worked well. I would love to come back to this lounge.

Bar

There is a full-service bar as well as a soda machine, coffee machine, and several water dispensers in the lounge. The bar offers complimentary beverages including beer, wine, and mixed drinks, with several premium options for sale.

Food

Dinner was being served during my visit. This lounge offered a decent assortment of hot dishes (Indian), soup, salad ingredients, snacks, fresh fruit, and desserts.

Seating & Decor

The lounge has a good mix of tables, high tops, armchairs, and other configurations around the space divided up into a few sections. Aside from the area around the bar, the space was almost empty. The decor is minimal, but it works and I loved the huge windows.
