Air Canada has opened the first dedicated premium lounge experience at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB). The Air Canada Café is designed to give eligible travelers a comfortable place to relax, work, and recharge before their flight. The new 97-seat lounge, operated in partnership with Plaza Premium, is the seventh Air Canada Café in the airline’s network and represents the latest investment in its expanding premium airport experience program.
Inspired by Québec City’s French heritage and culture, the 3,616-square-foot space features locally inspired design elements and artwork from acclaimed Canadian artists Antonietta Grassi and Douglas Coupland.

The café’s food and beverage offerings showcase regional flavors, including breakfast pancakes with maple butter, locally sourced cheeses, build-your-own power bowls, and products sourced from Indigenous partners. Guests can also enjoy specialty coffee, handcrafted cocktails, and beers from local Québec brewery La Souche.
Designed with both comfort and productivity in mind, the lounge includes power outlets and USB-C charging at every seat, along with dedicated work-friendly seating areas.
Access is available to eligible Air Canada and Star Alliance passengers, including Business Class travelers, Aeroplan Elite members with 50K status or higher, Star Alliance Gold members, and select Aeroplan premium credit card holders.
Anthony’s Take: I look forward to checking out one of these cafés. The opening follows recent lounge investments by Air Canada at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), including a new Air Canada Café and a renovated Maple Leaf Lounge, as the airline continues to modernize its lounge network across Canada and around the world.
