Last week, I wrote about a host of new routes and additional planned Mint® service. Now, JetBlue is making some network changes, eliminating service on seven routes, and shifting one transatlantic flight to a seasonal operation as the airline continues to expand its presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
The changes include the airline’s complete exit from two destinations: Antigua and Daytona Beach, FL as well as the discontinuation of several domestic routes from New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK). JetBlue will also end a seasonal Florida route from Providence and reduce service between Boston and Amsterdam.

The adjustments come as JetBlue grows its Fort Lauderdale operation, where it recently announced an expansion that will make the South Florida airport one of the airline’s largest hubs. JetBlue has also confirmed it is considering Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) as a future location for its expanding JetBlue BlueHouse™ Lounge network.
The following routes are getting the axe:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to/from Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) (ends September 9th)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to/from Antigua’s V. C. Bird International Airport (ANU) (ends October 31st)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to/from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) (ends October 25th)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to/from Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) (ends September 9th)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to/from Nashville International Airport (BNA) (ends October 25th)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to/from Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB) (ends September 9th)
- Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) to/from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) (ends September 9th)
JetBlue will also transition its Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to/from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) route from year-round service to summer seasonal service beginning in winter 2026.
Anthony’s Take: The latest network changes highlight JetBlue’s continued effort to concentrate flying in its strongest focus cities while trimming underperforming routes. Fort Lauderdale has become a central part of that strategy with the airline rapidly adding destinations and frequencies in hopes of strengthening its competitive position in South Florida.
