Hilton Honors has a new status match promotion that offers Gold status after eight nights and Diamond after 14 nights. It’s only available if you either don’t have Hilton status or are currently Silver and have never taken advantage of a status match before.
I have found myself staying at more Hilton properties lately in Las Vegas (I’m actually at Crockfords Las Vegas this week again). My review can be found here. I have Gold status as a benefit of The Platinum Card® from American Express. I used to stay more at Hilton properties and was Diamond for several years. Gold serves its purpose and overall there are some Hilton properties that are interesting me more and more. The upcoming partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) definitely has my attention (more here).
If you’re not currently Gold or Diamond with Hilton Honors, here is a great opportunity to snag status for way fewer nights than normally required. I’m not sure why it says 2025, but it has been confirmed that status earned through this promotion lasts until March 31, 2026. Best Western Rewards, Choice Privileges, IHG Rewards Club, Marriott Bonvoy, and World of Hyatt membership cards and recent stay proof are all being accepted. A match to Gold is granted upon acceptance and then guests must stay eight nights within 90 days to keep Gold status through March 31, 2026. If a guest stays 14 nights in this same period, they will be bumped to Diamond through March 31, 2026.
Terms & Conditions:
- Acceptable forms of status validation include a screenshot of your current and active account status. Acceptable forms of stay validation include a screenshot of your recent reservations or hotel receipt, redacting any personal information other than your name and membership number. We accept .jpg files only. Please do NOT send us any personal information (including your phone number, address, social security number, date of birth, user name, passwords, or credit card information). Only elite statuses from another hotel loyalty program that are listed in the status dropdown menu are eligible for status matching.
- Hilton reserves the right to decline any application at any time for any reason. Please allow 7 – 12 business days for Hilton Honors to process your request. Hilton may require additional validation in its complete discretion which may take an additional 7 – 12 business days. The 90 day status match trial period starts once approved. Only members who have not previously completed a status match challenge are eligible. Reward stays do not count toward achieving the status match requirements.
Anthony’s Take: If I did not already have Gold status, I would jump on this one for the bump to Diamond after staying 14 nights. It’s a nice offer and one that might not last long.
