I am traveling tons several days a week for work and some fun. Thanks to bonus nights earned from holding certain credit cards and Marriott’s 1H promo, I just pushed past 75 nights for the year. While this is not as early as last year, it puts me in a good spot to now focus on my Hyatt Globalist status. My only question is which Choice Benefit I should select this year for 75 nights stayed?

Marriott Titanium 2026

I’ll now have Titanium Elite status through March 2027. I have a ton of Marriott stays planned for the back half of the year, so there is the chance I will get back to Ambassador. It has been a few years and I have been wondering about the program and how it is these days.

Titanium Marriott 2026 2

My 2026 spend is around $3,000 more than when I requalified for Titanium Elite last year. Some international travel this summer is extremely expensive and that should push me close. I received 25 nights from holding the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card and 15 more from the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card. With that and the promo, I’m at 76 nights with plenty of additional stays planned. I was Ambassador pretty much since it was introduced by SPG (and lost it in 2024). The program was diluted so much that I no longer felt the need to strive for this level with its minimal benefits above Titanium Elite, but with my travel so strong there is a chance I will get there organically.

Marriott Choice Benefits

I’m on the fence about which I should choose.

Marriott 2026 Choice Benefits

Choices at 50 nights include:

  • Nightly Upgrade Awards (five) to redeem for upgrades to select premium rooms or suites
  • Savings of $1,000 on Your Favorite Bed from Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques
  • The ability to gift Marriott Bonvoy® Silver Elite Status
  • A $100 donation to the Arne M. Sorenson Hospitality Fund
  • A $100 donation to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)
  • A $100 donation to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
  • A $100 donation to the Children’s Miracle Network
  • The ability to add Elite Night Credits (five) to your 2026 total to reach status faster in 2027

I selected the Nightly Upgrade Awards for this selection. At 75 nights, you can choose any of the above or one of these:

  • A Free Night Award with a value of up to 40,000 points
  • The ability to gift Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite Status

I’m thinking that I’m going to take the Free Night Award because I often book the suite I want. I have time to choose and will do so soon.

Anthony’s Take: Marriott Bonvoy® Choice Benefits are now open for me. I made my 50-night selection months ago and think I will choose the free night for 75 soon like I did in 2025.

Marriott isn’t going to deliver on any of these promised benefits so what does it matter?
