Yesterday, I wrote about a Marriott Bonvoy® promotion for those with one of Marriott’s co-branded credits cards. Eligible members can earn 2,000 bonus points on stays of two nights or more. Marriott has also launched its global fall promotion. It offers 2,000 bonus points on stays of two nights or more (plus 2,000 more points if these stays are at an MGM Collection property).

Marriott Bonvoy Fall Promo

It’s exciting to see these new promos and the good news is that they are stackable. You can register and earn with both offers. Marriott Bonvoy® members can register for the promotion now through November 12th. Stays must be two nights or longer and fall between September 10th and November 26th. These paid stays will earn 2,000 bonus points each. Plus, members can earn an additional 2,000 bonus points on each stay of two+ nights at MGM Collection hotels and resorts. If combined with the other promo, you’ll earn up to 6,000 bonus points per two-night stay (in addition to what you earn based on elite status).

Terms & Conditions:

  • The promotion is valid for stays between September 10th and November 26th, regardless of when they’re booked
  • Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, and registration closes on November 12th
  • Only stays paid with cash qualify toward this promotion; award stays (including Cash + Points stays) don’t qualify
  • The bonus points will post within 10 business days of checking out of a hotel
  • There’s no limit to how many bonus points you can earn
  • You can only earn this bonus for one room booked per stay

Anthony’s Take: Marriott is being generous with its fall promos. Both of these present good opportunities to bank bonus points and you should register for both if eligible.

Now i remember why I hate Marriott so much. I was in Germany and tried numerous times to register but got a popup that I wasn’t eligible. Nothing under my promotions tabe. I was able to sign my husband up no problem, but the reservation was in my name. No phone number for Bonvoy so I emailed before my stay. A few days later they reply that they added the promotion but it’s too late for my 2000 (being honorable about a measly $14 value on a $1200 stay is too much for them I guess.)
Too bad because this hotel almost changed my mind about Marriott. It was the nicest I’d been in in years (usually are old and dingy.)
