Marriott Bonvoy® and United Airlines have revived a popular joint promotion that gives eligible travelers the chance to earn bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points and United MileagePlus® miles on both hotel stays and flights.

After registering (by August 31st), eligible members can earn 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy® bonus points and 1,500 United MileagePlus® bonus miles for each qualifying hotel stay and flight completed during the promotion period. To participate, members must first link their Marriott Bonvoy® and United MileagePlus® accounts. Register here.
The promotion is available exclusively to Marriott Bonvoy® Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite members, as well as United MileagePlus® Premier Gold, Premier Platinum, Premier 1K®, and Global Services members. To receive both rewards, qualifying stays and flights must be paired. For example, a traveler who completes four Marriott stays and ten United flights would receive the bonus four times, since each stay must be matched with a qualifying flight. Terms and Conditions can be found here.

Anthony’s Take: For travelers who regularly fly United and stay at Marriott properties, the promotion provides an easy way to boost balances in both loyalty programs at the same time, making it one of the more valuable cross-program offers currently available.
