One of South Beach’s most iconic luxury hotels is preparing to close its doors. The W South Beach, located at 2201 Collins Avenue, is expected to cease operations on August 20th after a nearly two-decade run as one of the flagship properties in Marriott’s W Hotels portfolio.

Reservations are no longer available after mid-August on Marriott’s booking channels, which signals the start of a transition for the nearly 350-room oceanfront property.
