Allegiant Air is growing its route map with the addition of seven new nonstop routes to popular Florida vacation destinations.
The newly announced routes include:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Punta Gorda Airport (PGD)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE)
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Orlando International Airport (MCO)
- Portsmouth International Airport (PSM) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
- Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
- Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB)
The new routes continue Allegiant’s strategy of linking underserved cities with popular leisure destinations while offering travelers additional nonstop options to Florida’s beaches, theme parks, and cruise ports.
The expansion follows a series of recent announcements by the airline. These include plans to introduce its new Allegiant First premium seating product in 2027 and complimentary inflight beverages for all passengers began on August 1st.
Anthony’s Take: Allegiant is working to bring its operations together with Sun Country. Florida has proven to be a winner and its good to see the low-cost carrier focus on where it can make money. I’m curious to check out Allegiant First and will report back when I do after it launches.
