Capital One operates some of my favorite lounges in the United States. Its Capital One Landing at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is perhaps the best place to spend time at an airport (the Delta One® Lounges might tie this spot). The lounges and restaurant have become extremely popular and like American Express, Chase, and just about every airline, something has to give to alleviate overcrowding. Capital One has seen the overcrowding and is making some changes starting February 1st.

As I first wrote about back in June 2025, Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Venture X Business cardholders will need to spend $75,000 annually to gain free guest access. If this threshold is not met, guests will cost $45 per adult guest ($25 for children 17 and under). A rate rate of $45 per person applies for other Capital One cardholders and it costs $90 for non-cardholders to enter. Authorized users can gain access for an additional $125 annual fee.
Capital One currently operates the following lounges and Capital One Landings:
Capital One Landings
- New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA): Coming Soon
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): Terminal 2 in the National Hall Near Concourse D
Capital One Lounges
- Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT): Coming Soon
- Dallas Forth Worth International Airport (DFW): Terminal D, across from Gate D22
- Denver International Airport (DEN): Concourse A, Near Gate 34, Mezzanine Level
- Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS): Concourse D, Level 2, Near Gate D50
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK): Terminal 4, Near B Gates
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): Main Terminal, Just Beyond TSA PreCheck®
Anthony’s Take: I welcome these changes. I’m tired of lounges being overcrowded and this will hopefully thin the herd. This has not proven as successful as it was hoped for Delta and American Express. Let’s see what happens at the Capital One Lounges.
