I flew to and from 44 airports in 2025 (one more than 2024) across 14 countries (five more than 2024). Between The Platinum Card® from American Express, Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Priority Pass, United Club℠, flying in premium cabins, and various elite statuses, there were few lounges that were not available to me during my travels. Some were rather lackluster, others felt familiar and homey, and all 10 of these provided great spaces to relax and work before flights.
Here are my ten favorite airport lounges of 2025:

10. Lounge Review: Capital One Lounge (IAD)
I had attempted to visit the Capital One Lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) a few times and every time it was too busy with a long wait to get in. I finally managed to visit twice in 2025 and was impressed with the space.

9. Lounge Review: Austrian Airlines Senator Lounge Schengen (VIE – F Gates)
Due to my Star Alliance Gold status (from being Premier 1K® with United Airlines), I was able to use the Senator Lounge near the F Gates where Schengen Area flights depart. I enjoyed my time here.

8. Lounge Review: Capital One Lounge (LAS)
Capital One’s newest lounge made my top 10 for 2025. Las Vegas offers tons of lounges and this is one of the better choices.

7. Lounge Review: The Centurion® Lounge by American Express (MEX – Terminal 2)
I visited this lounge in Mexico City International Airport (MEX) this year and found it to be one of my new favorite offerings from American Express.

6. Lounge Review: The Club SFO
While it was pretty crowded, I found this location to be well designed with a tasty buffet and lots of seating. It opened back in June 2024 and still feels new.

5. Delta Sky Club® (CLT – Concourse A)
This is one of Delta’s newest Sky Clubs®. The lounge still feels new and design-wise it is now one of my favorites in Delta’s network. This Sky Club® is beautifully designed and offered up an excellent lunch. I loved the amount of seating and that it had many phone booths for private chats and video calls without inconveniencing those around you.

4. Lounge Review: Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club (PHL)
Chase just opened this most recent Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on February 20th. It’s a great lounge with all of the food, drinks, and amenities you could want when departing or passing through Philadelphia.

3. Lounge Review: Capital One Lounge (JFK)
This marks three Capital One Lounges in this year’s top 10. The New York John F Kennedy (JFK) location is among the best with a beautiful design and thoughtful amenities like cheese tastings, cocktail carts, and made-to-order NYC bagel sandwiches.

2. Lounge Review: Capital One Landing (DCA)
Not a lounge, but it is operated by Capital One. Capital One Landings offer restaurant-quality meals in a whole new concept that is stylish and delicious. I loved this concept and the execution was flawless. José Andrés is an incredible chef and humanitarian. His partnership here takes this to another level. I can’t wait for the next one to open at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) next year.

1. Lounge Review: Lufthansa First Class Lounge (Munich Satellite)
The Lufthansa First Class Terminal is incredible (review here), but Lufthansa’s other First Class Lounges are also excellent. We had a great time in this one at Munich International Airport (MUC) over the summer.
Anthony’s Take: All of these lounges provided great spaces to work, relax, eat, drink, and get ready for the flights to come. Capital One stood out in particular for its amazing lounges and Capital One Landings. I hope to visit them again and many more in 2026.
