It always amazes me how self absorbed people are when they’re out in public and especially in enclosed spaces like onboard a plane. I’ve seen passengers trim their nails (including toenails) from their seats, but have never seen anyone shave their face during a flight like what was just posted on Reddit.

Just when I thought I’d seen it all…

Gary at View from the Wing shared the post above of a man shaving his face while seated onboard a recent Delta Air Lines flight. Why he would not go into the lavatory for some privacy and to spare his fellow passengers from his personal grooming session is beyond me.

WHY IS THIS ALLOWED ON PLANES?! 😭😭😭 #traveltmz #noflylist #why #fingernail #distraught

Apparently, my seeing someone clipping their nails was not a one-off experience. The TikTok video above from @traveltmz shows a passenger trimming and flicking the nail bits in the cabin. Just gross.

Anthony’s Take: Save the grooming for home, your hotel, or the lavatory. Decency onboard planes is almost certainly dead.
