EVA Air has Hello Kitty flights and does a great job incorporating the branding throughout (review here). Fans of Snoopy will soon be able to enjoy another year of themed travel as STARLUX Airlines launches its latest Snoopy collaboration across most of its network beginning July 1st.
The airline announced that its new seasonal Snoopy-themed flights will operate from July 1st through December 31st and feature an all-new concept called “Across Seasons, Across the World.” The campaign marks the third year of STARLUX’ partnership with the Peanuts franchise and introduces a fresh collection of onboard designs, amenities, and merchandise inspired by changing seasons around the globe.
The new theme follows previous collaborations including “Sky Adventure” and “Space Journey,” and will be divided into two seasonal chapters: Spring and Summer (followed by Autumn and Winter). Throughout the experience, Snoopy and his Peanuts friends will appear traveling through colorful seasonal landscapes while exploring destinations across STARLUX’ network.

Passengers can expect Snoopy-themed touches throughout their journey, including specially designed boarding passes, baggage tags, welcome screens, tissues, paper cups, and other inflight items. Adding an element of surprise, several onboard items will feature two different collectible designs that will be randomly distributed on flights. According to the airline, items such as boarding passes, paper cups and tissues will vary from flight to flight to encourage travelers to collect multiple versions throughout the promotion.

The collaboration has become one of STARLUX’ most successful branding initiatives. The airline says previous Snoopy-themed flights attracted strong interest from both domestic and international travelers with some passengers specifically booking flights to experience the themed service and collectible items firsthand. Beginning in July, STARLUX will also introduce a new line of Snoopy-themed merchandise through its onboard duty-free program and STARLUX Shop. Planned items include luggage tag sets, collectible pins, tumblers, and shopping bags featuring exclusive artwork from the collaboration.
The airline continues to expand its use of high-profile creative partnerships. In addition to the Snoopy program, STARLUX recently announced a separate collaboration with renowned Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama through its upcoming STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA project, which is expected to debut later this year.
Anthony’s Take: I love these collaborations and this one looks just as fun as the Hello Kitty activations. US airlines need to do more to introduce fun tie-ins like this.
