Yesterday, I wrote about the tragic event in Denver where 71-year-old American Airlines flight attendant, Celinda Levno, was fatally stabbed in the throat while on a layover. Now, police have arrested a suspect and have him in custody for this vicious attack as well as three other incidents.

Elijah David Caudill, 24, was arrested in connection with a series of deadly stabbing attacks over the weekend, including Levno’s murder. The suspect has a history of violent crimes and was arrested late Sunday night following a fourth attack. He is being held without bond on two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder. These attacks appear random and no motive has been established.

Caudill is believed to be responsible for four separate stabbings between Saturday and Sunday, which left two people dead and two others injured. CBS News reports that “Caudill has a criminal history that includes four failure-to-appear warrants in Denver for misdemeanor arrests in 2024 that include criminal mischief, assault, sexual contact- no consent and indecent exposure; attempted robbery and assault in Thornton in 2022; and a 2021 assault in Westminster.”

Levno AA

Levno had flown into Denver International Airport (DEN) and was downtown when she was attacked. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead yesterday morning. She was based at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and began her career with America West 36 years ago. Levno leaves behind a husband and sister.

Anthony’s Take: I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again, it’s heartbreaking that this flight attendant and another were senselessly murdered in Denver. My condolences to her friends and family. If found guilty, I hope that Caudill is made to pay for his crimes.
