A Ryanair passenger was having a bad morning and made sure that everyone around him felt just as bad. A male passenger at Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) flipped out this morning after missing his flight and began his rampage.

Ryanair Flight

Ryanair flight FR2295 to Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) departed just a few minutes late.

When a passenger arrived at Gate C62, he realized he missed his flight. Instead of trying to get rebooked, he lost it and started attacking the staff and anything else that was in his path. After his tantrum, he entered the women’s bathroom where he found a piece of glass. He then threatened to take his own life. He cut his chest and abdomen and was held by security until the authorities arrived.

Anthony’s Take: Being this violent and causing damage to an airport, as well as physically attacking staff, is completely unacceptable. I’m not sure how anyone thinks this behavior will ever help them get onto a flight. It appears that there was more going on with this passenger and that he might need some help for his mental health.
