A traveler at Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) thought he might still get on his flight even though it had already departed. The man jumped from the empty jet bridge in hopes of making the plane. Instead, he ended up falling onto the tarmac 12 feet below.

You have to wonder what goes through people’s minds. Arguing and/or assaulting a gate agent, storming a flight, and jumping off an empty jet bridge are not going to get you to your destination faster. Luckily, it appears that the man was not seriously injured as he sits and then stands in the video.

No authorities are seen in the video, but The Daily Mail reported that the Civil Authority was called to handle the matter. Needless to say, the man did not get to board the flight.

Anthony’s Take: Sometimes you have to know when to call it quits. Running through a secured gate door and then climbing/falling off a jet bridge is not going to make for a successful travel day.

Another nutjob. Rather than stay on the jetway and walk back, he’d rather risk breaking his limbs.

It’s like cruise passengers running in the quay as the ship has pulled away.

Perhaps show up on time
