Delta Air Lines opened The Window Seat Shop last year at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK). It promised SkyMiles Members artisan gifts and goods from around the globe and a jump on their 2025 Medallion Status, but it delivered an odd hodgepodge of overpriced scarves, cosmetics, and more. The shop came back today, November 23rd at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and online.

Delta SkyMiles® American Express Card Members will earn one Medallion® Qualification Dollar (MQD) toward their 2025 Medallion Status for each $1 of purchases at The Window Seat Shop using their card. I was not impressed with what was offered last year, but it must have been successful enough for it to come back in 2024 and virtually sell out online today.

I don’t know what quantity of these items were available online, but the price tags are steep and they say “sold out.” As of writing this post, only the following items are available for purchase:

The rest of the items (around 30) are not available. It’s unclear if the online store will restock these items during the season either.

In Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) it’s located in Terminal A (near the Delta Sky Club®). I’m also unsure if the physical store carries the same merchandise.

Bag Tag

The best part of the shop last year was the item you could get for free if you visited the physical location at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Cardholders received the bag tag above for having a cobranded Delta American Express card. I have not heard any reports of this returning this year.

Anthony’s Take: While members have the opportunity to earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) toward 2025 Status, I don’t recommend spending enough in the shop to earn status. The store will be open between November 23rd and December 8th.
