Delta Air Lines announced yesterday that it will add a trio of new Sky Clubs® and expand several others in 2025. This includes a tenth location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and upgrades to two others there, expanding the lounge at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), adding a second location at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), and building a second Sky Club® as well as the first Delta One® Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).

In 2024, Delta debuted the Delta One® Lounges in Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) (review here). It also opened a Sky Club® at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and expanded locations at Miami International Airport (MIA) and New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA).

Delta Sky Club ATL T6 30

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)

This year, Delta will open a 10th location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). The 23,000 square-foot Sky Club® will be located near Gate D16 and will be the second largest lounge operated by Delta in the airport when it opens this spring. This will be the first additional lounge opened in Atlanta since 2016. The locations in Concourses A and C will also be upgraded.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

The Sky Club® at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) near the Terminal D/E connector will get a 2,000-plus-square-foot expansion. in the fourth quarter.

Delta Sky Club SLC Step and Repeat

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)

A second Club will open at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) on Concourse B. This joins the Concourse A Sky Club®, which opened in 2020 (review here). The lounge will measure around 34,000 square feet and will be one of the largest in the network when it opens in late 2025.

Delta Sky Club SEA Seating 3

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

The first Delta One® Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is expected to open this summer. It will be around 11,000 square feet and feature an open-air terrace with views of Mount Rainier. The Delta One® Lounge will occupy an upper level of a forthcoming Delta Sky Club® (the airport’s second; my review of the other can be found here). This will be housed in Concourse A near Gate 11 and will measure around 14,000 square feet.

Anthony’s Take: While restrictions that begin next month will limit the number of entries granted to multiple credit cardholders, Delta is making its lounges a place that people still want to go to relax and work before flights. It operates the best options in the United States now that it has added the Delta One® Lounges. Even though I have shifted a lot of my flying to United, I can’t wait to check out these new locations.

The PHL lounge is still my favorite description on location. “Behind the Earl of Sandwich”
