Delta Air Lines is adding seasonal flights between Westchester County Airport (HPN) and two Florida destinations this winter: Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The airline is also cutting flights to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) after August 31st.

Orlando

Delta will go head to head with JetBlue when it launches service to Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) on November 10th. Orlando will run until April 15th and West Palm Beach ends on May 6th. Both will be operated with a Boeing 717, which offers First Class, Comfort+, and Main Cabin seating.

Boston Skyline

Flights between Westchester County Airport (HPN) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) have been running 6 days a week with two daily flights (no service on Saturdays). These are removed from the schedule after August 31st. Delta will continue to fly to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW).

Anthony’s Take: It’s interesting to see Delta add two point-to-point routes and cut one of its hubs from Westchester. I wonder if it will add any other Florida flights as the schedule is finalized.
