I’ve written a lot about CLEAR and find that it’s a good membership to have in your travel toolkit. The service continues to expand with new airports added almost monthly. The latest is Maui’s Kahului Airport (OGG). It’s Hawaii’s second busiest airport and sees over six million passengers annually.

Kahului Airport (OGG) will be the 57th airport to install CLEAR lanes. CLEAR has saved me tons of time through the years. Having CLEAR ensures that I will get through security quickly and I don’t even need to take out my ID. The program has grown to include over 20 million members. CLEAR’s launch is expected to create 33 jobs and generate approximately $2.1 million annually for the local area.

Hawaii’s busiest airport, Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), expects its CLEAR lanes to open in the coming weeks.

CLEAR CEO, Caryn Seidman Becker, said:

CLEAR is thrilled to be in Maui and bring frictionless, predictable travel to Maui residents. In addition to bringing jobs and investment to the Island, we are proud to continue our support of  rebuilding efforts through the Hawai’i Community Foundation.”

To celebrate the launch of the lanes in Maui, CLEAR is offering Hawaiian Airlines’ HawaiianMiles members discounted CLEAR Plus memberships. Hawaiian Airlines and CLEAR are offering Pualani Platinum, Pualani Gold, and Premier Club members a discounted membership rate of $149 (a $40 discount), and HawaiianMiles members a rate of $179 (a $10 discount). Pualani Platinum members who have flown over 75,000 flight miles will receive a complimentary annual CLEAR Plus membership. CLEAR Plus identity verification lanes are available in 13 of Hawaiian Airlines’ 15 North American destinations.

Anthony’s Take: I love having CLEAR and will continue to use it to save time while traveling. The service continues to roll out at airports across the US and is now virtually everywhere I travel. This latest addition will save vacationers tons of time when they’re on holidays in Hawaii.
