PAL Airlines is a Canadian airline based at St. John’s International Airport (YYT). The regional carrier plans to fly from Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

The new route will be served on behalf of Air Canada using a Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 aircraft with 76 seats. Once approved, flights will begin in June. PAL currently operates scheduled passenger, cargo, air ambulance, and charter services. It began commercial service in 1980.

Anthony’s Take: It looks like PAL has already been doing some flying as Air Canada Express. These new flights should see the same treatment (at least initially).
