Allegiant is turning tax season into a travel opportunity with a limited-time promotion designed to help customers make the most of their refunds. The airline is offering bonus Allways Rewards® points on select bookings to give travelers an extra incentive to plan their next summer getaway.

As part of the Tax Day promotion, Allways Rewards® members can earn 1,040 bonus points when booking eligible trips. The offer is available for a short window, with bookings required between today, April 14th and April 16th. Travel must take place between May 15th and September 7th. To take advantage of the promotion, customers need to log into their Allways Rewards® account on Allegiant’s website, book a qualifying itinerary during the promotional period, and enter the promo code “EZREFUND1040” before completing checkout. Travelers who are not yet members can sign up for the loyalty program to participate.
Anthony’s Take: By tying the offer to Tax Day, the airline is positioning refunds as a way for customers to fund upcoming vacations.Allegiant says that “this year’s refunds could contribute an additional $5.1 billion to US domestic leisure travel spending.” If you’re booking an upcoming trip with Allegiant, you might as well earn some extra points.
