Passengers were shocked to see a man drive a Mercedes into Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and slam into the Delta Air Lines check-in area earlier this evening. The vehicle can be seen in a dusty pile at the check-in counter with a trail of debris behind it from where it crashed through the airport.

Around 7:45 PM, the man crashed through the airport and was reportedly traveling around 45 miles per hour.

The driver was taken into custody. No motive has been reported and thankfully no injuries either.

Anthony’s Take: It’s amazing that no one seems to have been injured or killed by this vehicle crashing through the airport. This is a developing story and I’ll report back when more is known.
