Delta Air Lines is further upping its lounge game with a slate of new and remodeled Sky Clubs® across the country. This includes long-term builds in major markets, near-term renovations, and expansions aimed at easing crowding and elevating the overall lounge experience.
The Points Guy broke the news that Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is finally getting a Sky Club®. Delta confirmed plans to open a brand-new outpost in Sin City. This marks the carrier’s first lounge in the city. Despite Las Vegas’ status as a top global destination (and despite Delta’s own glitzy presence during its takeover of the Sphere last year), the market has been missing a Sky Club® entirely. Flyers will need patience though as it’s not scheduled to open until 2029.
Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) has been a hotbed for credit card issuers to open lounges with American Express (review here), Capital One (review here), and Chase all running them at the airport. That’s in addition to the United Club℠ (review here) and The Club (review here).

While Las Vegas is a long-term project, one major lounge makeover is much closer to the finish line. Delta has been quietly renovating its Sky Club® on Concourse A at Denver International Airport (DEN). This is a full refresh aimed at boosting capacity and modernizing the space, which it desperately needs (review here). Delta expects the Denver project to wrap up in the next two months.

Delta is also enlarging its footprint in Florida. Both Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) (review here) will see Sky Club® relocations and expansions. (I’m excited for Tampa.) Jacksonville is set for the biggest transformation when it triples in size to 10,000 square feet once work finishes next year. Tampa’s upgraded club is slated to open in 2028 in the airport’s new Airside D concourse.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) has a refresh that is already complete. Delta finished a months-long renovation of its compact Sky Club® at the airport and expanded seating capacity from 75 to 144 while adding an entirely new seating room. Updated finishes, improved back-of-house prep areas, and a more versatile buffet setup rounded out the upgrade. While the lounge remains one of the smaller lounges in Delta’s network, it is significantly more usable than before (this is especially true for travelers positioned near the D Concourse who don’t have access to the Chase or American Express lounges).
Anthony’s Take: As a Delta Diamond, this is exciting news and I can’t wait to check out and report back on these new-and-improved Sky Clubs®.
