Europe is a continent filled with breathtaking beauty and cultural richness. Its countless destinations capture the hearts of travelers from all over the world. From the snow-capped mountains of the Alps to the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, Europe offers an array of scenic and historic attractions that are sure to stick with visitors long after they return home. Travel + Leisure just released its list of the 25 most beautiful places and I now have some more to add to my list. Here are their editors’ picks (I’ve thankfully been to 11 on the list, marked with a * below):

1. Villa Rufolo, Ravello, Italy*
I just visited the number one pick last summer and I can attest to its beauty. Ravello is near the end of the Amalfi Coast and the town you reach after driving through the many of its picturesque villages like Amalfi, Praiano, and Positano. Villa Rufolo offers visitors spectacular views, lush flowers, and a gorgeous place to spend an afternoon.
Anthony’s Take: I’ve been fortunate to make it to 11 of the 25 on this list and I’ve added some of the others to my travel list. I’d argue that several places are missing and would add Taormina, Sorrento, Lake Bled, Venice, Budapest, Santorini, and Innsbruck to this list. Wherever you go in Europe, you’ll find beauty, culture, and delicious food.
