Marriott Bonvoy announced that a new promotion is coming soon. It will be called “Earn Even Faster” and is valid for stays between February 7th and April 23rd. Registration will begin soon. No other details around earning or promo rules have been released.
Marriott’s last promotion ran from September 21st through December 15th. That promotion offered 2,000 bonus points per eligible stay, starting with the second stay. It also offered an additional 2,000 bonus points for each eligible stay at a different brand (starting with the second brand) for those that hold Marriott co-branded credit cards.
Anthony’s Take: I have shifted a lot of my stays to Hyatt, but if Marriott has a lucrative promotion, I’ll consider staying more during the earn period. I hope that it will be a double or triple points promo as Marriott has devalued Bonvoy points quite a bit over the past few years.
