While passing through Denver (DEN), I took some time to walk down to gate B60 to check out the new United Club℠ Fly. This is a new concept with grab-and-go packaged food that I hope United will roll out systemwide (or at least at its hubs and focus cities).
Anthony’s Take: The lounge is tiny at only 1,563 square feet with seating for 16 and space for eight more at the counter behind the fireplace. Everything inside is complimentary for guests. This is especially great for those with tight connections who want a quick bite or those who want to bring food onboard their next flight. Doors opened on November 5th, so I got to see this lounge while it was still shiny and new. I love this concept!
Entry is automated. You walk up, scan your boarding pass, and enter.
Access
Entry is granted to the following guests:
- United Club℠ members
- Travelers in premium cabins flying internationally
- United Club℠ one-time pass holders
Drinks
The lounge offers cans of soda, seltzer, bottled milk, and juice in a large case on the wall facing you as you enter.
There is a self-serve espresso machine.
Drip coffee, hot water, milk, and other beverage condiments are located next to the espresso machine. Here you’ll also find eco-friendly utensils.
There is a coffee bar located across from the espresso machine, but it was not staffed while I was there.
Food
Next to the cold beverages you’ll find several cases with grab-and-go food.
Cups of fresh fruit, yogurt (Noosa, which are a personal favorite), hard boiled eggs, and double chocolate muffins
Multiple salads, hummus and veggie cups, as well as cups filled with grapes and cheese (plus more muffins)
Sandwiches and wraps
Seating
As mentioned, there is seating for 16 including these chairs and a few tables with a banquette (I didn’t snap a picture of those as people were eating at them). Behind the tables is a fireplace with a counter and eight seats.
Overall Impression:
This is a great concept and one that I hope United continues to bring to other hubs and focus cities. I like that I can go in, grab a beverage, sandwich, or snack, and be on my way to my next flight.

Good info, first I’ve seen w/ pics. QQ: do you know who is doing the catering for the sandwiches, etc? Is it gategroup?
I’m assuming so since they handle United’s catering at DEN.
I’m wondering what they’ll do if someone tries to stuff 20 bottles of juice and 10 sandwiches into their carry-on, then throws a hissy fit if they’re stopped. “I paid hundreds of dollars for my membership, so how dare you tell me I can’t take what i want”.
I thought the same thing. I hope people don’t abuse it, but we’ll see.
