SkyTeam airline, Aeromexico, restarted its flights between Mexico City International Airport (MEX) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This is the first time since January 2019 that Aeromexico has operated this route.
The daily service is operated with a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with 16 Clase Premier (Business Class), 18 AM Plus (extra legroom), and 132 Economy Class seats. This is part of the Delta-Aeromexico Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) that is expanding operations between the United States and Mexico.
While the JCA continues to roll, Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico recently lost the antitrust immunity that they held since 2016. This means that they could previously coordinate things like pricing and schedules on transborder flights. Well, not anymore. The US Department of Transportation (DOT) decided not to renew this agreement back in January.
Aeromexico continues to expand in the United States and currently serves 20 destinations, including:

- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
- Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
- Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
- Denver International Airport (DEN)
- Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT)
- Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
- Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
- Miami International Airport (MIA)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
- Orlando International Airport (MCO)
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
- Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)
- San Antonio International Airport (SAT)
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
- Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
It also partners with Delta for service to:
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
- Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)
- Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)
