Irish carrier, Aer Lingus is moving from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). This new location puts it in the same terminal as its codeshare partner, American Airlines.

The airline will make the move on January 24th. After that date its 9x weekly flights to Dublin Airport (DUB), which increase to 14x weekly in March, will takeoff from there. Aer Lingus entered its codeshare agreement with American Airlines in 2022. It’s able to sell American flights within the US and American can sell flights to/from Dublin.

Admirals Club

Aer Lingus Business Class passengers and those who hold oneworld® Emerald™ or Sapphire™ (or Aer Club Concierge and Platinum members on Aer Lingus) can access the Flagship® Lounge in Terminal 3 (there are also three Admirals Clubs located there.)

Anthony’s Take: This makes perfect sense since Aer Lingus codeshares with American Airlines. Fellow oneworld airlines Iberia and Japan Airlines can also be found in Terminal 3 at O’Hare.
