St. Regis is one of my favorite hotel brands. While the brand only has 60 locations (including this one), I have had many memorable moments at several of its hotels with amazing breakfasts, service, and upgrades. We visited Belgrade a few years ago and stayed at the Metropol Palace. It was part of Marriott’s Luxury Collection, but has since left the brand and Marriott Bonvoy® altogether. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite, which was incredible. The St. Regis Belgrade will provide a nice, luxury option.
The St. Regis Belgrade was originally slated to open in 2019, but the project was delayed for some time. It will have 119 rooms and suites situated on 11 floors of the 42-story Kula Belgrade building. Dining options will include a signature New York-inspired restaurant (JJ’s Brasserie), along with a St. Regis Bar, and a patisserie. Other amenities include the St. Regis Spa, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, a fitness center, the glass-wrapped Astor Ballroom, and complimentary parking.
Marriott’s site says that the hotel is opening in January 2024, but it’s not accepting reservations until March 2024. Only paid reservations are currently bookable with award bookings to be added in the near future.
Anthony’s Take: We visited Belgrade during the summer and had a great time exploring the city and spending time along the river. I’d love to return to Serbia and the St. Regis provides a great luxury option in the city.

Great information. I’ve considered visiting Belgrade next year, particularly since there’s a category 1 Hyatt Regency but am concerned about anti-USA sentiment since Serbia is so strongly pro-Russia. Any thoughts in that regard?
