Marriott Bonvoy® started its first global systemwide promotion for 2026 on February 25th. It gives members a valuable opportunity to earn bonus points and accelerate elite status progress this spring with bonus Elite Night Credits. The new offer provides 2,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points per stay along with an additional incentive that rewards travelers for exploring different Marriott brands. Members can earn one Elite Night Credit for each different Marriott Bonvoy® brand where they complete a stay during the promotional period (through May 10th). These nights were posting randomly, but last night Marriott updated something and all bonus nights awarded to date disappeared.

Since the promotion began, I have stayed in nine distinct Marriott brands with some having multiple stays. This includes:
- Autograph Collection
- Courtyard by Marriott
- Delta Hotels by Marriott
- The Luxury Collection
- Marriott
- W Hotels
- Renaissance Hotels
- Sheraton
- Westin
This would give me nine bonus nights. Four of them had posted, but those nights went away overnight. The terms of the promotion state that bonus Elite Night Credits “will be posted up to 6 weeks after the promotion earning period ends.”

It’s odd that some had posted, but not others, and now they are all gone. Flyertalk members have noted that nights are missing.
Anthony’s Take: Hopefully, Marriott fixes whatever IT bug is happening, but I’d suggest keeping a close accounting of the nights you are owed.
