The Sky Club® at Denver International Airport (DEN) used to be one of the most dated in the system (here is my review of the old space). That changed today. Delta Air Lines is elevating the premium travel experience at the airport with the re-opening of a striking new Delta Sky Club® that brings the spirit and beauty of Colorado indoors.

Sky Club DEN 1

Located on the fourth floor of Concourse A, the 13,000-square-foot lounge offers seating for 230 guests in a thoughtfully designed space inspired by the state’s landscapes and heritage. By the end of the year, the lounge will expand by an additional 6,000 square feet to bring the total space to more than 19,000 square feet and increase capacity to 400 seats.

The expansion will introduce a second beverage station and a dedicated business lounge featuring printers and five soundproof phone booths to cater to travelers seeking both relaxation and productivity.

The new Sky Club® draws heavily from Colorado’s natural textures and colors. Wildflower-inspired patterns blend with jewel tones and earthy hues. Live-edge wood, rugged stone slabs, and organic materials reflect the state’s mountainous terrain and wooded landscapes. Architectural details nod to downtown Denver’s Union Station while incorporating warm lighting and an elevated tavern aesthetic that bridges urban sophistication with the state’s adventurous outdoor character. A curated art collection showcases local artists and Colorado-inspired imagery (including horseback riders and sweeping landscapes).

Guests will find a premium bar inspired by Denver’s historic taverns, a cozy media room with large flat-screen televisions and low-set banquettes, and two double-sided food buffets. An expansive beverage station offers coffee, tea, and soft drinks. The culinary program features a seasonally inspired menu alongside locally rooted dishes such as Chile Colorado (prepared onsite and served as a signature offering). Influenced by Southwestern and Native American culinary traditions, the menu highlights regional ingredients including Olathe sweet corn, Palisade peaches, and Rocky Ford melon during peak seasons.

The Club is also debuting a new premium cocktail menu, including craft selections such as an Elderflower Gin and Tonic and a Yuzu Margarita, which are expected to expand to additional Sky Clubs® in the coming weeks. In line with Delta’s sustainability goals, the lounge is transitioning away from single-use dining materials while maintaining a premium guest experience.

Delta has served the Denver market for nearly 50 years, beginning at Stapleton International Airport before moving operations to Denver International Airport (DEN) in 1995. Over the decades, the airline has maintained a consistent and expanding presence in the Mile High City. This year, Delta plans to operate its largest-ever schedule from Denver, with nearly 40 peak-day flights to more than ten destinations (including Austin and all of Delta’s US hubs).

The new Denver Sky Club® reflects Delta’s continued investment in both customer experience and infrastructure. SkyMiles members using the Fly Delta app can also take advantage of expedited TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID lanes by storing their Known Traveler Number and passport information in their SkyMiles profile and opting into the program.

The Denver opening follows major expansions of Delta Sky Clubs® in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) earlier this year. Additional lounges are already planned for Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in 2027, Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport RSW) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) in 2028, and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in 2029.

Anthony’s Take: With its newest Denver space, Delta is signaling its long-term commitment to enhancing the premium ground experience and redefining travel comfort at one of the nation’s fastest-growing airports. It’s about time.
