I flew home last night from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Tampa International Airport (TPA). In advance of the flight, I chose my meal. For this flight, I went with the Sweet and Sour Pork. It was a solid meal (even though I only ate part of it because my appetite is a bit diminished these days due to starting Wegovy).

Air Canada Meal Choice

The pre-order menu did not provide much detail.

AC Rouge Pork 1

A bottle of water was first provided.

AC Rouge Pork 2

Drink orders and mixed nuts came next. I had a ginger ale.

AC Rouge Pork 3

The tray included the Sweet and Sour Pork served with rice, a mesclun salad, a bread roll, and carrot cake for dessert. I tasted each component and they were all pretty good. The pork had a nice flavor and mixed well with the rice.

Anthony’s Take: This was a solid choice and I’d order it again. Air Canada offers meals that while not great are certainly fine for what they are.
