Delta Air Lines updated its schedule for summer 2025 with seven leisure routes added to the map from its hubs in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).

All seven routes will operate only on Saturdays between June 8th and September 7th (with one exception noted below). All flights are operated by mainline aircraft using Boeing 717, 737-800, 737-900, and Airbus 319 aircraft. These include:

  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to/from Bangor International Airport (BGR)
  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to/from Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP)
  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to/from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)
  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to/from Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS)
  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to/from Pensacola International Airport (PNS)
  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to/from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) (runs from May 10th to August 2nd)
  • Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) to/from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC)

These flights are in addition to the massive schedule that Delta already has planned for summer 2025. It will operate 968 daily flights to 215 destinations from its mega-hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in summer 2025. This is nearly 75 additional daily departures over summer 2024 and cements Atlanta as the world’s largest airport hub. This includes 66 international routes (the newest among them were previewed here). Delta highlighted its commitment to offering leisure travelers to Europe more choice with increased frequencies and new destinations.

Anthony’s Take: Delta continues to grow its schedule for next summer. While it’s not as exotic as what United is planning, it’s great to see all of the new choices.
