Eurowings is a German low-cost carrier headquartered in Düsseldorf and is owned by the Lufthansa Group. It’s not usually known for innovation, but this is so cool. The airline is currently testing a pop-up coffee cart that makes espresso-based beverages in flight.
A Fly Guys Travels first shared the video above of the coffee cart in operation. With the push of a few buttons, the machine pops up and is ready to dispense coffee.
Anthony’s Take: I will not drink coffee in flight as I feel the water tanks are disgusting. Being that this is mobile, I’d assume it can be cleaned. I might shift to an in-flight morning latte if this was an option.
