The Lufthansa Group is increasing capacity on its flights between Tampa International Airport (TPA), Zurich Airport (ZRH), and Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA) in May 2024. Leisure destinations (like Tampa) fall to these parts of the portfolio and it’s great to see service increasing.

Edelweiss Cabin

Edelweiss Air (the sister company of Swiss International Air Lines) will increase service between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Zurich Airport (ZRH) starting on May 26th. The flights will be operated by an Airbus-A340 and will increase from 2x to 4x weekly.

Discover Airlines Plane

Lufthansa recently rebranded Eurowings Discover as Discover Airlines. Discover will also be increasing its flights between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA) in May 2024. The flights will move from 5x weekly to daily on an Airbus A330-300.

Anthony’s Take: Tampa is my home in the winter and I love that both of these flights will see increases in frequency. I’ll definitely be looking for these planes and hope to fly one of these routes soon.
