Hyatt and Lindner Hotels & Resorts announced a new partnership in October 2022. Under the agreement, Hyatt will add more than 30 hotels to its portfolio of offerings with many of these being rebranded under the JdV by Hyatt brand.

The family-owned hotel chain is based in Germany with 34 hotels across seven European countries. The agreement will expand Hyatt’s brand footprint in 13 new markets including Kiel, Speyer, Leipzig, and Ulm.

Lindner Hotels will be added to the World of Hyatt program in July 2023. Hyatt loyalists will then be able to earn and redeem World of Hyatt points at Lindner properties, further enriching their travels and increasing their opportunities to stay with Hyatt.

Anthony’s Take: Overall, this partnership allows Hyatt to continue to grow its European footprint. While these are not luxury properties, more choices and especially in smaller markets is a welcome addition.
