Amazon Prime offers a lot more than just free shipping on Amazon orders. From discounts at Whole Foods to Prime Video, there is a lot to love about Amazon’s paid service. Now, it’s gotten just a little bit better as Amazon Prime members will receive free GrubHub+ benefits for as long as they are Amazon Prime members.

GrubHub+

GrubHub+ is the food delivery services premium membership. It normally costs $9.99 per month and offers several benefits, including:

  • $0 delivery for purchases of $12 or more (excluding taxes, fees, and tips)
  • 5% cash back on pickup orders (in the form of GrubHub credits)
  • Lower service fees
  • Exclusive bonuses and prizes for members as well as additional discounts at certain restaurants

This free membership is equal to $120 in savings. Amazon Prime costs $139 annually. If you use this benefit, you’re essentially eating up (no pun intended) most of the cost.

Amazon Prime customers can now order Grubhub while on Amazon.com or with the Amazon app. This seamless integration makes the service even more appealing. Additionally, if you have the American Express® Gold Card, you receive up to $10 per month in dining credits and GrubHub is one of the choices. This makes using GrubHub+ an even smarter choice. You can access this benefit by registering here.

Anthony’s Take: I have been an Amazon Prime member for as long as I can remember and I find great value in it. Additions like this keep me loyal and excited to be a member.
