Lauren Wolfe is a New York-based influencer with over 1.1-million followers on TikTok. She created a recent post that showed off what she called “game changing,” but it’s actually pretty dangerous to wear your seatbelt around your ankles if turbulence hits.

The TikTok influencer is seen wearing her seatbelt in an unconventional way in order to sit more “comfortably” while in flight. The clip has been viewed around 193,000 times and many praised her for her unique hack. It looks like she might be flying United Airlines. If a flight attendant notices her seat belt usage, this will surely be corrected. In the event of an emergency, this is not a smart move.

Anthony’s Take: Feet do not belong on walls or seats. This is not a smart way to use a seatbelt and could result in injury during turbulence.

It’s like some demented scientist managed to mix a Karen with a bimbo.
