SkyTeam airline, Aeromexico, will launch eight seasonal routes to the United States from Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) and Monterrey International Airport (MTY).
The new routes include four from Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) and four from Monterrey International Airport (MTY).
Guadalajara International Airport (GDL)
- Denver International Airport (DEN) (1x weekly on Saturdays; runs December 21st through April 19th)
- Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) (daily; runs December 19th through January 12th)
- Miami International Airport (MIA) (up to 7x weekly; runs December 19th through March 30th)
- Orlando International Airport (MCO) (up to 7x weekly; runs December 19th through March 30th)
Monterrey International Airport (MTY)
- Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) (daily; runs December 19th through January 12th)
- Miami International Airport (MIA) (up to 7x weekly; runs December 19th through March 30th)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) (daily; runs December 19th through January 12th)
- Orlando International Airport (MCO) (up to 7x weekly; runs December 19th through March 30th)
These all begin in December. All of these flights will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with 16 Business Class, 18 AM Plus, and 150 Economy Class seats for this route. Aeromexico will see competition on these routes from American Airlines, Viva Aerobus, and Volaris.
Anthony’s Take: Aeromexico is adding these routes for a limited time this winter. It’s good to see the Mexican carrier testing out some new lines on its map.
