Last night, I teased about a new, nonstop international route coming to San Antonio International Airport (SAT). It’s now official that Condor is launching service to Frankfurt Am Main International Airport (FRA) starting in May 2024.
This is the second new route that Condor has recently announced. The airline has plans to add flights between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Frankfurt Am Main International Airport (FRA) (also in May). Both routes will operate 3x weekly. Condor has updated its route map to show both destinations.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) will be served by an Airbus A330-900neo. It has 30 Business Class, 64 Extra Legroom Economy, and 216 Economy seats. This is the only international service from the airport other than a few flights to Mexico operated by Aeromexico, VivaAerobus, and Volaris.
Anthony’s Take: A subsidy is a good reason to test a route. It’s interesting to see Condor continue to grow its US presence with 13 destinations soon served.
