I was in New York City earlier this week and flew home to Chicago from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). While there I was excited to check out the new Sky Club® that had just opened a few weeks ago.
Access
Access is granted to passengers with memberships (purchased annually), one-time pass holders (earned from the co-branded American Express cards), Delta One®, SkyTeam premium cabin passengers, SkyTeam Elite Plus when flying internationally in premium cabins, the Centurion® and the Platinum Card® from American Express holders, Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card holders, WestJet business class passengers, and WestJet Rewards Platinum and Gold Elite. Allowed guests vary by access type. A same-day boarding pass is required to enter the Delta Sky Club®.
Anthony’s Take: Delta has opened another gorgeous Sky Club®. It spans 14,000 square feet and can accommodate 250 guests. The food, service, decor, and overall experience are all what I’ve come to expect from Delta’s top-notch lounge network. This is a nice complement to the other location in Concourse B near Gate 31 (full review here) and will. hopefully help with some of the past overcrowding issues.
Kiosks and a check-in desk are located directly inside the entrance.
An escalator leads up to the lounge.
The space is bright and open with a Sky Deck (outdoor space overlooking the tarmac) and lots of open seating.
The Sky Deck is located directly across from the entrance to the lounge.
It had a good amount of space, a fireplace, and amazing views.
Bar
The bar is in the center of the lounge and it takes up a good amount of the space.
It has lots of tables for dining and a good amount of space to sit at the bar. It offers all of the standard spirits, wine, and beer that Delta provides complimentary, as well as some premium options for purchase.
Self-serve iced tea, raspberry lemonade, and iced coffee were found just past the bar.
A coffee machine, tea, and condiments are located on the left of the buffet.
A self-serve soda machine was next to the coffee machine. I was happy since it had ginger ale.
Food
Dinner was being served during my visit. The buffet has soup, salads, sandwiches, cheese, cold cuts, hummus, and a few hot dishes.

Jasmine Rice
Hummus, veggies, and fruit salad
Assorted salads
Sandwiches
Meats and cheeses
Mexican Corn Soup and Chicken Noodle Soup

A good selection of condiments.

This stand features Edith’s famous vegan Iced Café Slushie (cold brew, tahini, oat milk, and simple syrup) as well as Jewish deli staples like a brisket hash sandwich, vegetarian latkes, and a labneh parfait. It was not ready to serve while I was in the lounge. I’ll need to taste on my next visit.
Seating & Decor
There is lots of seating in this Sky Club®. There are tables, high tops, and individual workstations around the room. There was not a lot of art throughout the lounge, which will hopefully be added as I love the art in many of Delta’s Sky Clubs®.
There were several phone booths tucked near the restrooms.
Another small room nearby had additional tables.
A departures board and magazines were located near the bar.
A printer was located in the small room above. It was out of service when I was there.
Amenities
This Sky Club® also offers free Wi-Fi, restrooms, and the food, beverages, and other amenities mentioned above.
Overall Impression:
This is a nice addition to JFK and will hopefully ease crowding in the other location. I prefer the design of the Sky Club® in Concourse B and like that it offers additional food options and shower suites. That said, this is a great complement and I look forward to visiting in the future.
Anthony’s Credit Card Pick: I love the lounges where The Platinum Card® from American Express grants me access. It has had a prominent place in my wallet for many years now. While it does have an annual fee of $695, it provides many travel benefits and will always be my go-to for lounge access (both Delta Sky Clubs® and Centurion Lounges) and booking airfare from the airlines to earn 5x points (up to $500,000 per calendar year).
