I had never heard of Buc-ee’s until we hit the road to drive back from Tampa to Chicago. In case you’re like me, Buc-ee’s is a beloved convenience store and gas station chain located primarily in the southern United States. Known for its clean and spacious restrooms and huge variety of snacks and drinks, Buc-ee’s has developed a cult-like following among travelers and locals alike. The stores sell everything from branded apparel to fresh baked goods and barbecue sandwiches, fudge, nuts, and more. We saw one coming up in Georgia (signs are posted over 100 miles in advance) and made a quick stop to check it out.
You don’t know where to look when you enter as the store sells just about everything you could want to eat, drink, or shop for while filling up your gas tank. Bathed in row after row of fluorescent lights, the massive stores pack in tons to see and buy for the road ahead.
A statue of Buc-ee sits out front.
As soon as you enter, you’ll find row after row of gifts.
There is a huge wall of jerky (one of Buc-ee’s specialties).
There is also a wall of gummy candy.
There a t-shirts, greeting cards, and more.
Buc-ee’s makes its own fudge. I bought a sampler box and enjoyed the many flavors.
You can buy your own stuffed beaver.
There are tons of hot sauces, condiments, and other gourmet gifts.
Pecans are candy coated right in the store.
Barbecue is chopped up for fresh sandwiches. A bakery in the back has fresh baked cookies and more.
The store also sells beer and wine.
Buc-ee’s has its own branded baskets to make shopping easier.
And, don’t forget the gas. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many pumps.
Anthony’s Take: I’ll definitely be back to Buc-ee’s when I head back to Florida in the fall. It has an amazing selection of food and gifts (as well as spotless restrooms). I wish there were one closer to me in Chicago.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Buc-ees. If you’re there for breakfast, the brisket and egg breakfast taco is great. Make sure to get some salsa to give it a little kick.
Hey! Very Nice Blog
They are slowly adding EV charging stations to their stations.
