Applebee’s and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts are teaming up to bring travelers a new kind of hotel room service experience (one powered entirely through the Wyndham mobile app). Starting today, May 19th, members of Wyndham Rewards can order Applebee’s To Go directly to their hotel room at any of Wyndham’s more than 8,300 hotels across the United States with zero delivery fees (on qualifying orders).

The industry-first collaboration transforms the Wyndham app into a digital room service platform and gives travelers access to familiar comfort food without the premium pricing often associated with traditional hotel dining. According to the companies, more than 1,100 Applebee’s locations are situated within five miles of a Hotel by Wyndham in the US. This makes the partnership widely accessible for road trippers, business travelers, and vacationers alike.

Applebee's To Go

Guests who place Applebee’s To Go orders of $15 or more through the Wyndham app will receive free delivery while also earning 10 Wyndham Rewards points per $1 spent. Travelers who enroll in Club Applebee’s can also receive 2,500 Wyndham Rewards bonus points with their first qualifying order. The partnership is aimed squarely at convenience-focused travelers who increasingly rely on mobile apps to simplify the hotel experience. With more than 124 million enrolled members worldwide, Wyndham Rewards is one of the largest hotel loyalty programs globally. It spans 25 hotel brands including Days Inn, Super 8, La Quinta, and Dolce Hotels and Resorts.

Rather than navigating unfamiliar local dining options or paying elevated in-room dining prices, travelers can now order burgers, salads, wings, and other Applebee’s favorites directly to their hotel room in just a few taps. To access the service, travelers simply download the Wyndham mobile app, log into their Wyndham Rewards account, and place an Applebee’s To Go order through the integrated platform.

Anthony’s Take: The collaboration reflects a broader trend in hospitality toward app-based convenience and loyalty-driven partnerships that blend dining, travel, and rewards into a more seamless guest experience. Applebee’s is familiar and a favorite of many, so I see this partnership working out for both companies.
