Lufthansa is elevating its long-haul travel experience with the introduction of premium skincare products from German beauty brand BABOR (as part of its new Future Onboard Experience (FOX) program). The updated onboard offering will begin rolling out this month in First Class (Business Class enhancements will follow in early May). The initiative is designed to improve comfort, personalization, and overall quality for passengers on long-haul flights.

As part of the partnership, Lufthansa will introduce new amenity kits featuring BABOR skincare products curated specifically for inflight use. First Class passengers will receive high-end products including the DOCTOR BABOR Collagen Peptide Booster Cream.

Business Class travelers will receive amenity kits that include lip balm and hand cream from BABOR’s Soul & Body line. The products are designed to help combat the effects of dry cabin air and support skin care during long flights.

Lufthansa is also introducing a new level of personalization for First Class guests. In addition to the standard amenity kit, passengers will be able to choose from a dedicated skincare menu tailored to individual needs. Available options include revitalizing eye cream, eye zone patches, firming serum, and moisturizing gel-cream. Cabin crew will deliver selected products directly to passengers’ seats.
The BABOR partnership is a key component of Lufthansa’s broader FOX program, which aims to enhance multiple aspects of the inflight journey. The program focuses on improving comfort, introducing more individualized services, and creating distinctive onboard moments for travelers across premium cabins.
Anthony’s Take: While the rollout begins with First Class, Lufthansa plans to expand the updated experience to additional travel classes in the coming months as part of its ongoing investment in premium passenger offerings. I’m always happy with a good amenity kit and I like the personalization in First Class.
