Spirit Airlines kicked off the holiday season yesterday with its Black and Yellow Friday event. It offers travelers a wide range of discounts on flights, vacation packages, loyalty points, and Spirit Saver$ Club memberships. The promotion runs through Cyber Monday (and in some cases later) and gives customers multiple ways to save on trips through early 2026.
Travelers can book one-way fares starting at just $25 for Saver$ Club members and $30 for non-members (through December 1st). These discounted fares apply to travel between December 6th and March 4th (excluding Fridays and Sundays). The deal covers routes across Spirit’s domestic and international network.
The low-cost carrier is also offering a special rate on its Spirit Saver$ Club membership through December 2nd. Customers can join for $50.95 and unlock year-round savings on flights, baggage, seats, and extras. Benefits extend to the member and up to eight traveling companions (making the offer particularly appealing for groups and families).
Loyalty members can stock up on additional rewards through a separate promotion running through December 8th. Travelers who buy or gift Free Spirit points during this window can receive up to 100% more points.
Spirit Vacations is also joining the event with exclusive package deals combining airfare, hotels, and other options. Customers planning full-service getaways can save even more when bundling all elements of their trip through Spirit’s vacation platform. All deals can be found here.

Anthony’s Take: Spirit’s Black and Yellow Friday special is designed to help travelers lock in low fares and boost loyalty rewards heading into 2026. The airline has hit some bumps this year, but I am still a fan of the carrier and hope that it can find a successful path forward.
