I first wrote about this Sky Club® back in January and now the opening is here. Delta Air Lines will open its newest Delta Sky Club® at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) tomorrow, October 28th. The lounge is located in Concourse B and the nearly 34,000-square-foot space is Delta’s second largest Sky Club® to date. It can accommodate up to 600 guests and offers an elevated experience for travelers passing through one of the airline’s fastest-growing hubs.

The new Sky Club® reflects Utah’s diverse natural scenery and translates the state’s mountains, lakes, and canyons into modern design and textures. Guests enter through a geometric ceiling installation and terrazzo mosaic flooring that mimic the shimmer of sunlight on snow, while rich wood tones, copper accents, and jewel-colored furnishings evoke the earth tones of the Rocky Mountains and desert caverns.

Throughout the lounge, art installations created by local Utah artists showcase the state’s iconic landmarks. The highlight of the artistic experience is the Digital Immersion Wall, a Delta first, which envelops guests in panoramic visuals of Utah’s landscapes (complete with ambient nature sounds that provide a calming, multi-sensory experience).

The expansive two-level space caters to both work and play. It offers a wrap-around premium bar, nine private soundproof phone booths, and an open workspace with panoramic airfield views.
A chef-curated buffet offers fresh salads, sandwiches, and hot selections made on-site. This is complemented by two self-serve beverage stations for coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Unique to this location is Delta’s first-ever “Dirty Soda” bar. This is a nod to Utah’s local beverage trend of soda mixed with syrups and creams.

The opening of the new Sky Club® marks another milestone in Delta’s long-term investment in Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Delta operates up to 255 peak-day departures to nearly 100 destinations worldwide. The lounge also coincides with the airport’s ongoing “New SLC” redevelopment program, which recently expanded Concourse B with 10 new gates and enhanced operational flow to improve the travel experience.
The Sky Club® complements several other customer-focused innovations at the airport. SkyMiles members can now enjoy Touchless ID TSA PreCheck lanes, while Delta One® travelers departing from Salt Lake City gain access to Delta One® Check-in, a concierge-style private check-in service that will be available at all Delta hubs by the end of the year.

Delta continues to strengthen Salt Lake City’s position as a premier global hub. This year, the airline launched its first-ever nonstop flight to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN). Later this year, Delta will also begin daily nonstop service to Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM), marking its first route from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to South America.
Anthony’s Take: I can’t wait to check out this gorgeous lounge. This is a huge investment and Delta continues to deliver with its lounges.
